Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj to visit Russia on 13th September 2018: Details, Schedule, Purpose, Highlights

Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will commence on a two-day visit to Russia on 13th September 2018.

Sushma Swaraj will also co-chair the 23rd India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Technical & Economic Cooperation(IRIGC-TEC) with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Yuri Borisov.

Sushma Swaraj would also take stock of bilateral cooperation in various fields and will provide policy recommendations and directions in the relevant fields.

Sushma Swaraj will also hold a discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin's upcoming visit to India to attend the India-Russia Annual Summit later this year in 2018.

IRIGC-TEC is a standing body which annually meets and reviews ongoing activities of bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, science and technology,  culture and other issues of mutual interest.
