The Government of India extends the date of exemptions allowed for 500 and 1000 denomination note ban.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to ban Rs.500 and Rs.1000 denomination note to expiry from 8th November 2016 midnight.
The Government has also announced certain exemptions allowed for certain transactions to provide easy access to the citizens of the country till 11th November.
The exemptions are railway ticket booking, airways, bus fare, hospitals, medicines, petrol pumps etc.
The Government has also provided certain more exemptions in addition to these.
This included court fees, payment towards other fees, tax, charges, penalties and utility fees for water electricity payable to the Central and State Government.
No advance payments will be allowed only payment of pending or current bills to be allowed.
