Union Ministry of Defence in a statement on 8th September 2018, notified that the next edition of 'Aero India-2019' (Air-show) will be held in Bengaluru
The Aero India 2019 event will be organised in Bengaluru from 20th February 2019 to 24th February 2019. This five-day event will combine a major trade exhibition for the aerospace and defence industries with public air shows.
The Aero India 2019 event will be conducted by the Department of Defence Production.
The Aero India 2019 event will see the participation of global leaders and big investors in the aerospace industry. It will also see participation by think-tanks from across the world.
The Aero India 2019 event will provide a unique opportunity for exchange of information, ideas and new developments in the aviation industry. Besides giving a fillip to the domestic aviation industry it would further the cause of Make in India (project).
It will be the 12th edition of Aero India, popularly known as the ‘Aero Show.’ Started in 1996, the ‘plane carnival’ has been a showpiece event with AFS Yelahanka rising to the occasion to accommodate the increasing demand of the biennial show
