Venkaiah Naidu and Swedish Minister holds meeting for smart city
Union Minister of Urban Development Mr. Venkaiah Naidu holds a meeting with Swedish Minister for Enterprise in New Delhi on 9th November 2016
Shri Venkaiah Naidu stated that as joint working group has been set up between the two countries and now it’s the time to move on.
Naidu stated to host bilateral meetings frequently to explore the possibility of cooperation in urban development.
Venkaiah Naidu requested the Swedish Minister to invest in Smart Cities as there are many opportunities available for the same
Minister highlighted the importance of Special purpose Vehicle, PPP Model, credit rating of cities etc.
Both the ministers agreed to enhance cooperation in the urban sector between the two countries.
Swedish Minister appreciated the reforms of Government of India and stated to expand the relationship between two countries.
