The astronomers from Brazil have discovered two new planets around a star similar to Sun HIP 68468.
These two planets are idefified by astronomers as Super Neptune and Super Earth.
The planetary environment around HIP 68468 is quite different from the system which includes Earth.
The planets rotate very close to their star which signifies that they have migrated from a more exterior to a more interior region of the planetary system.
Super Neptune known as HIP 68468c has 50% greater mass as compared to Neptune.
While Super Earth known as HIP 68468b has three times mass larger than the Earth and orbit is 3% of the distance of the Earth.
This means that it has stuck to star HIP 68468, which is 6 billion years old and 300 light years away from the Earth.
