World Youth Skills Day was observed across the world on 15th July 2018 in order to raise awareness on the importance of investing in youth skills development.
World Youth Skills Day-2018 the Theme is "Improving the image of TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training-2018".
World Youth Skills Day-2018, followed a discussion focusing on how innovation and emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), are transforming labor markets, as well as what skills youth need to operate in future economies and to become drivers of a sustainable future, will take place on 16 July 2018 at the UN Headquarters in New York.
World Youth Skills Day-2018 is the second time when the world is celebrating this day, It was first observed by the United Nations General Assembly on 15th July 2015.
World Youth Skills Day main aim is To create awareness about the importance of investing in youth skills development as rising unemployment among the youth is one of the most significant problems faced by the economies and societies in today’s world.
