Spiritual leader and Head of Sadhu Vaswani mission Dada JP Vaswani has passed away recently at the age of 99 in Pune on 12th July 2018.
Dada JP Vaswani was known for actively promoting vegetarianism and campaigning for animal rights.
Dada JP Vaswani had initiated a global peace initiative called,‘The Moment of Calm’, a global peace initiative observed on 2nd August at 2:00 PM each year. The day he was born, is celebrated as ‘Global Forgiveness Day’. Followers of his teachings observe two minutes of silence to forgive and to seek forgiveness.
Dada JP Vaswani was born in Hyderabad, Sindh (Pakistan) on 2nd of August 1918.
Dada JP Vaswani was a world-renowned spiritual leader known for promoting vegetarianism and animal rights.
Dada JP Vaswani is credited to have written over 150 self-help books. He was the recipient of the 1998 U Thant Peace Award, given by the United Nations.
