Make in India: ZED Zero Defect Zero Effect scheme, Award for MSME

 

 

Make In India initiative Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi launch ZED or Zero Defect Zero Effect scheme for MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise)

MSME sector includes Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise to increase the quality of products to match global standards.

ZED scheme aims to reduce bad effects of products from the environment contributing to the environment.

The MSME sector needs to make products with Zero defect or zero effect on the environment and as per global standards.

MSME companies set the standards as per the guidelines of ZED will be awarded ZED certification.

This scheme will provide superior quality with reduced rejection and higher revenues.

It will also increase environment and social benefits and also generating employment.

ZED scheme will also help to streamline operation at lower cost.

Promotion of foreign investment will also take place due to credible recognition through ZED scheme.

Lastly, most importantly, it will improve brand image of the country.
