New Zealand's Women Cricketer, Amelia Kerr created history on 13th June 2018, when she blasted a record-breaking unbeaten 232* runs off just 145 balls against Ireland to become the second woman to score an ODI double-hundred at Dublin.
Amelia Kerr surpassed the highest score record of 229* previously held by Belinda Clark of Australia at the age of 21 years, in her record-breaking innings against Denmark in Mumbai in 1997. She was the first cricketer to record a double-century in ODIs.
Amelia Kerr opening the innings against Ireland blasted 232* runs not out off just 145 ball deliveries. She achieved the knock by hitting 31 Fours and 2 Sixes with a strike rate of 160.00.
Amelia Kerr at the age of 17 years, she also became the youngest double-centurion in international cricket – men and women included.
