Military of India and Nepal conduct Surya Kiran-X at Nepal
The Military of India and Nepal conduct a joint military exercise Surya Kiran-X at Army Battle School, Nepal to counter terrorism
This is the tenth time that the military has conducted the drill which was scheduled from 31st October to 13th November 2016.
This is India’s largest troop participation with Nepal which are conducted annually either in Nepal or India.
The main aim of conducting this exercise is to conduct at battalion level to confront terrorism.
This will also maintain good relations with two nations to share experiences and gain knowledge for the same.
Indian Army is represented by Kumaon Regt while Nepal Army was represented by Jabar Jung Battalion on behalf.
The exercises related to aspects of disaster management has also been included.
Hoping for this traditional friendship to go in heights.
