Gaurav Solanki has bagged the 20th ‘Gold Medal’ for India, on the 10th day of the 21st Commonwealth Games in the Men's 52 kg category of boxing competition on14th April 2018.
Indian Young Boxer, Gaurav Solanki (21 years old) achieved the feat by beating Northern Ireland’s Brendan Irvine in the final bout by 4:1 split decision from the jury. He lost the third round but did just enough in the first two to top the podium with a gold medal.
