Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was an Indian freedom fighter born on 23rd January, 1897 in Cuttack, Orissa.
Subhash Chandra Bose was born to Janakinath Bose and Prabhavati Devi where his father Janakinath Bose was known as ‘Rai Bahadur’.
He go for higher education in studies and completed B.A in philosophy from Presidency College in Kolkata.
Subhash Chandra Bose was the follower of teachings of Swami Vivekanand and worshipped him as a Guru.
At that time, it was very difficult for the Indians to opt for civil services but Subhash Chandra Bose secured the fourth position.
After getting the fourth position in the ICS examination, he was selected in government alien job but he resigned from the job as he did not wanted to serve British government.
