Union cabinet takes full membership of International Vaccine Institution

The Union Cabinet has approved for the proposal to take the full membership of International Vaccine Institute.

 The government will take the full membership of the International Vaccine.

The government will pay $5,00,000 as the annual contribution for taking the agency from the International Vaccine Institute, Seoul in South Korea.

In the year 2007, the government joined International Vaccine Institution with the approval of the Union Cabinet

The proposal is approved by Union headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to the law, the International Vaccine Institution states a member state to contribute by paying a proportion of its core budget to the institution.

India is classified in group-1, the country needs to pay $50,000 as a contribution.

International Vaccine Institution is a non-profit organisation established for the benefit of the health of children which can be used for new and improved vaccines.
