The app aims to capture and showcase the innovations and progress in elementary education sector of India by continuous monitoring of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan.
The app has been developed by World Bank in partnership by Human Resource Development ministry.
The Union HRD Minister urged the people to give all children at least minimum levels of learning that is from Class I to Class VIII under Right to education Act, 2009.
The app will help the children, teachers and schools to impart education and improve the elementary education all over the country.
The ShaGun app will also serve as a platform for the Central Government for planning and delivering quality education to the children.
