Researchers have found that the tomatoes were found five million years ago in Antarctica.
Scientists have found a fossil which is five crore twenty lakh years old which is similar to cherry tomatoes and ground cherries.
Both can be seen in the bark of fossil in a very thin paper and the bark can be seen in the nerves of the fossil.

The fossil is so much clear that the scientists recognise the buried portion of Berry and due to fossilisation process, it developed into a coal.
The scientists have developed that during the final stage of isolation of ancient Godwana Land it would have been with South America, Antarctica and Australia.
The fossils were found in a place which is extremely dry and inhabitable at the shore of Lake Kaldera.
The researchers believe that due to the presence of lake the fossil buried to the ground could be floating in water.
