The Government is planning for income transfer scheme which will serve as the base of National social Security System.
The government is deciding on the opinion to make the scheme as Universal scheme or for the poor people only.
The government is planning on the scheme to reduce poverty from the country and the scheme can be presented in the Union Budget.
To provide Rs.1500 to the poor people per month, the government has to spend 3 lakh crore rupees and for that it will be difficult for the government to function the scheme.
The government is aiming to keep fiscal deficit to 3% of GDP and if after the implementation of GDP government will get revenues then they can launch the scheme.
The scheme will also benefit the unemployed people who do not have any source of income.
It will be challenging for the government to launch the income scheme.
