The National payment Corporation of India has distributed over Rs.54.90 crore to 3.42 lakh winners as per Lucky Draw Yojana.
The two schemes announced by government’s ‘think-tank’ NITI Aayog as Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi-Dhan Vyapar Yojana.
Lucky Dhan Grahak Yojana is for consumers while Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana is for merchants to promote digital payments.
The daily winners awarded with prize are 15,000 while there are more than 14,000 weekly winners under Lucky Draw schemes.
The winners are mostly of 21 to 40 years of age who won the prizes under Lucky draw.
National Payment Corporation of India is also organising Digi Dhan Mela’s till 14th April 2017 to promote digital payments.
