The Indian Meteorological Department cautions that cold wave will grasp in the North and Centre of India in next 2-3 days till 15th January.
The temperature will get normal after 21st January in most of the parts of the country.
The Himalayas, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh will continue the cold weather from 14th to 17th January and the plains will experience cold wave from 15th to 17th January where on 15th January cold wave will come to its peak.
It is also expected that there will be normal rainfall in two weeks.
People are experiencing severe cold in the areas like Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan.
