Lt. Gen Saranth Chand appointed as vice-chief of Indian Army staf

 

 

Lieutenant General Saranth Chand is appointed as the vice-chief of the Indian Army staff

Saranth Chand is based in Jaipur as the Army Commander in South Western Command.

Saranth Chand was commissioned into Garhwal Rifles in June 1979 and has an outsatanding professional career over 38 years.

Saranth incorporated new technologies which set new landmarks in jointness and air ground coordination.

New vice-chief Saranth Chand to be responsible for operational efficiency

Sarath Chand also laid emphasis on welfare of troops and humane approach towards the welfare of ex-servicemen.

Saranth Chand established veterans’ cells and helplines and implemented ‘satat Milaap’ concept in the form of regular interaction with veterans and war widows of Rajasthan.

As the New vice-chief, Saranth Chand will be responsible for operational usefulness of the Army.
