2nd International Kite Festival in Hyderabad on Makar Sankranti
Hyderabad hosting International Kite Festival for the second time on Makar Sankranti
The second International Kite festival is being organised in Hyderabad for the second time in Makar Sankranti.
The six day festival starts from 12th January and aims to raise awareness on the importance of education.
The International Kite Festival aims ‘fly a kite for a girl child and colour of sky of cause’
In the International Kite Festival around 50,000 visitors will join from 17 countries with 70 international and 40 National Kite flyers.
The main event of Kite flying will take place on the Makar Sankranti Day on 13th January.
By the end of the evening, several cultural events are also organised with dance performances.
The participants are seeking to join the festival again in next year.
