External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj wrote on social media giving Amazon the warning on selling the doormat which is tri colour Indian flag.
In reply, Amazon stated that the tricolour Indian flag doormat was listed in its Canada website.
Sushma Swaraj warns Amazon to stop selling flag doormats and demanded for an unconditional apology.
Amazon stated that the product was sold by third party in Amazon canada website
After Sushma Swaraj’s warning, Amazon immediately withdraws the sale of tricolour doormats.
Amazon also stated that in future this will not happen and will prevent to do any kind of mistake.
