IRCTC Rail connect mobile app launched by Ministry of Railways for ticket booking
Indian Railways launches mobile application to be more convenient for its passengers for ticket booking.
The app is based on next generation e-ticketing system so that passenger can book tickets easily and quickly.
The app will allow its users to get the full information regarding the journey and book and cancel tickets easily.
The user can also get the information regarding reservation and there is no need to fill the information again and again as the users’ information will be saved.
IRCTC mobile application also provides alert of the planned journey
The difference between early mobile app and this mobile app is that the app works jointly with online ticket booking website.
The new app helps the users to get access over 40 banks, debit-credit cards and net banking.
The app is safer as it is based on PIN logging system which will not require frequent user name and password.
