SBI has declared to waive MDR charges completely till 31st December 2017 who have the annual turnover of Rs. 20 lakh.
The decision aims to provide convenience to small businessmen who do not use much debit cards and to promote them to use the debit cards for payments.
SBI has been organising terminals in smaller areas and builds up POS acceptance of infrastructure across the country.
SBI has organised 70% of PoS terminals in non-metro centres which can be found in 4400 centres.
Every time small merchants are not able to realise the benefit but this time SBI has provided this benefit.
