The Ministry of Road and Highways plans to launch two applications m-Parivahan and e-challan for road safety.
The launch of the apps aims to simplify public interactions and improve the road safety.
E-Challan app will help the traffic police and the transport officers to enforce the rules and laws and integrated with Vahan and sarathi applications.
Firstly, the user needs to register himself with the mobile app by Aadhaar based one-time Password (OTP).
Both the mobile apps will be launched by the Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari during 28th Road Safety Week starting from 9th January to 15th January.
