Supreme Court Anurag Thakur and Ajay Shirke removed from BCCI

 

 

Supreme Court orders to remove President Anurag Thakur and Secretary Ajay Shirke from their posts on Monday following dispute in court with Justice Lodha reforms

BCCI also decided to remove the defiant members who did not agree to implement the Lodha reforms will also be removed.

It is also expected that the senior-most vice president will be the president of BCCI.

Gopal Subramaniam and Fali Nariman will now suggest names for an interim committee

Supreme Court will also remove the people who are above 70 years of age and have extended period for nine years or those who have criminal conviction.

 The next hearing of the Supreme Court will be on 19th January when the names of Interim Board will be decided.
