RBI extends cash withdrawal limit to Rs.4500 per day from 1 Jan

 

 

Reserve Bank of India extends cash withdrawal limit to Rs.4500 from 1st January 2017

Reserve Bank of India has extended the cash withdrawal limit to Rs.4500 per day to be effective from 1st January 2017.

The currently cash withdrawal limit was Rs.2500 per day but the Reserve Bank of India has taken the decision for the ease to withdraw the cash from ATM.

It must be noted that there is no increase in the weekly withdrawal of the money that is Rs.24,000 for an individual

The limit has been imposed on the banks as well the ATMs on the withdrawal of cash from accounts.

After demonetisation, the banks have closed the facility to exchange the notes but now RBI is depositing the money but on valid reasons.
