China plans to expand 30,000 km of high speed rail network by 2020

China is all set to expand 30,000 km of high speed rail network all over the country by the year 2020.

China has also decided to incur huge amount on rail infrastructure for the smaller cities.

China plans to renovate expressways, cement roads in 30,000 km

China will expand the high speed rail network as to make 80% trains passed through major cities of the country.

Recently, China has also signed with the private company for $420 billion with the aim to develop the intercity-rail service.

China has launched World’s longest high speed train service from Shanghai-Kunming line which covers a distance of 2,252 km in length which cuts travel time from 35 hours to 11 hours.

China has planned to renovate expressways and provide tarmaic cement roads as well as bus services to the villages with necessary conditions.
