Famous Nepali literateur Kamal Mani Dixit passes away on Thursday at the age of 87 at his residence in Pathandhoka, Pustakalaya
Prior to the death, Kamal Manu Dixit was suffering from various respiratory problems.
Kamal Dixit was the founder of Madan Puraskar Guthi and Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya.
Kamal Dixit is considered as one of the most remarkable person in Nepali literature which has contributed around 3 dozen Nepali literary works which he originally created and some editing.
Kamal Dixit was cremated at an electric crematorium in Pashupatinath temple area in Nepal
Kamal Dixit was the second son of Kedar Mani Acharya and Bidhiya Devi Dixit.
Kamal Mani Dixit’s two sons Kunda Dixit and Kanak Mani Dixit are the notable journalists of Nepal.
