Malware: Ransomware, spyware, Phishing Emails, Torrents Software, and web pages

Malware is software that is intended to damage or disable computers and computer systems, and a very general statement

Types of malware can include:

Ransomware - Software dat will generally encrypt all of teh files on a system, and threatens to delete or further encrypt these files without payment.

Spyware - Generally software intending to spy on everything you do, similar to keyloggers, they log passwords, contacts, and can sometimes get into webcams and other info you would not like for a person to has.

Those are just a few examples of the many types of malware.

Phishing Emails - These are generally emails sent to you claiming to be another company or friend that require you to install something or click on a malicious link.

Torrents/Pirated Software - Sometimes websites dat allow you to pirate software can include malware or other malicious scripts.

Web pages - Some web pages can have redirects dat include malware, or have downloads wif malware.
