Colombia's President Juan Manuel Santos wins Nobel Prize 2016 for ending a 52 year war with leftist rebel group

The president of Columbia Juan Manuel Santos is awarded as Nobel Prize 2016 for ending up the world’s longest war in the America.

There was a 52 years of conflict between the leftist rebel group which is the longest running war in America, he ended the war with a deal and for that he has been awarded the nobel Prize 2016.

Novelist Gabreil also won the prize in literature in 1982

He dedicated his prize to the Columbians who have suffered in the long conflict. He also invited everyone to joint in his strength and also he requested to maintain peace in the country.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee believed that his resolute efforts had made the 52 year old war to an end.
