The purpose of China will be to remove street lights in cities and reduce consumption and consumption of electricity from urban areas.
This artificial satellite is being developed by China in Chengdu city of Southwest Sichuan province. This was announced by Wu Chuffed, Chairman of Chengdu Aerospace Science and Technology Microelectronics Systems Research Institute Co. Ltd.
This artificial moon will illuminate approximately 80 kilometers of Earth's surface.
This artificial moon will be eight times brighter than the actual moon.
So far this satellite, being published as a publisher satellite, will be installed on the southwestern part of Chengdu city by 2020.
This artificial moon is seen as an alternative to traditional street lights.
This idea is inspired by a French artist who estimated the defeat of hanging mirrors on earth.
Scientists believe that the light of this satellite will be so much that it will not require street lights in the city. The satellite will use a reflective coating which will illuminate the light reflecting 50 square miles of earth area.
After announcing the launch of the artificial moon, critics' voices have become intensified. Critics and environmentalists believe that the use of artificial moon will be a nocturnal emission, which can adversely affect the environment and animals of the city.
