The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Chandrababu Naidu has Launched Swachh Andhra Mission on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 2017.
Ace Shuttler PV. Sindhu was appointed as the brand ambassador of the Swachh Andhra mission as well as state minister of Information Technology and Rural Development Nara Lokesh and the Public representative was present at the occasion.
It is a proud moment for the state that Sindhu is the brand ambassador for Swachh Andhra, Chandrababu Naidu praised PV. Sindhu on the occasion.
Swachh Andhra Mision aim to Open Defecation Free (ODF) Andhra Pradesh as Prime Minister Modi launched Swachh Bharat three years ago, Andhra Pradesh also taking those target ahead.
According to Naidu, The state's government is working on making the state 100 percent ODF by March 2018. The state would have to construct 22 lakh more toilets by March 2018.
Nara Lokesh said that in last three years, toilets in the state have increased from 30 per cent to 60 per cent.
