CBSE schools Principal retirement age limit to 60 years of age

 

 

Central Board of Secondary Education declares that principal can hold post till 60 years of their age with exception for National award winner teachers

The Central Board of Secondary Education has changed the rules regarding appointment of principal in CBSE schools.

CBSE has declared that principal can hold office above 60 years of age who has won the National award and for that the principal has to take permission from the CBSE board.

Principal who only won National award can continue after 65 years

Till now, principal having age of 65 years hold the office and principal does not even require the consent from the board but now CBSE has changed the rules.

CBSE has change the rules for the second time regarding the recruitment of principal.

It is expected that CBSE has taken the decision as till now people promote their family members to the post of principal.
