National High-Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRC) operates the first Bullet Train project of India between Ahmedabad to Mumbai. In the first phase, NHSRC open it's training centre at Vadodara. At the Vadodara training center, National High-Speed Rail Corporation will give training to 4000 new employees for the Bullet Train Project.
After the training phase, the corporation will focus on building bridges over rivers, road and railway lines.
Bullet Train Project has the capacity to give employment to total 20,000 people in various infrastructure development operations in coming 5 years in various parts of the country.
Bullet Train 96% of the track around 468 Km is planned elevated above the ground while 6% around 27 Km track be in a tunnel. Rest 12 Km of the track to be on the ground.
Bullet Train project require around 12 Million cubic meter concrete, 55 lakh ton cement and 15 Lakh metric ton steal.
Tentative ticket for Bullet Train between Mumbai to Ahmedabad to be Rs.2700/- to Rs.3000/- which is cheaper than today's air travel ticket price between two destinations.
