China space lab launched micro satellite Banxing 2 to take photographs of Tiangong 2 and Shenzhou 2 spacecraft

The space lab in China has launched a micro satellite Banxing-2 to take photographs of Tiangong-II and Shenzhou-11 spacecraft.

This satellite weighs of about 47 kg and has a series of visible light cameras including 25 megapixel camera and wide angle imagers.

The media named this satellite as ‘Selfie Stick’ as it contains electromagnetic camera that is temperature sensitive

This is the ancestor of Banxing-1 which completed the same mission for Shenzhou VII in the year 2008.

Its unique feature is that it is smaller in size and has a higher capacity.

Tiangong-II and Shenzhou-2 will examine the working and will be helpful to detect the failures.

The micro satellites are usually cheaper and more advanced from the traditional satellites.
