Bajrang Punia, a wrestler, was born on February 26, 1994, in Jhajjar, Haryana.
In the year 2013, he won a bronze medal in the Asian Wrestling Championship, followed by the bronze medal in World Wrestling Championships this year.
He won the silver medal in the Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow, Scotland in 2014. He won the silver medal in the Asian Games in 2014.
After this, Bajrang Punia won the silver medal in the 2014 Asian wrestling competition. He won a gold medal in Asian wrestling competition in 2017
Bajrang Punia won the gold medal in Australia's Gold Coast in the Commonwealth Games in 2018. In addition, in the 2018 Asian Games, Bajrang Punia won a gold medal in 65 kg weight category.
Bajrang Punia won the gold medal in Commonwealth Games and Asian Games this year. He became the first Indian to win this medal in wrestling in Asian Games.
