Ayushman Bharat - National Health Protection Scheme (Modicare) Features, Premium, Cashless, Benefits, Application www.abnhpm.gov.in
It is a National Health Protection Scheme announced in the 2018 Union Budget.
Ayushman Bharat aims to cover around 50 crore beneficiaries from over 10 crore poor and vulnerable families with an insurance coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary medical care.
Ayushman Bharat will cover Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) and the Senior Citizen Health Insurance Scheme.
Ayushman Bharat will provide Rs. 5 lakh per family per year health insurance benefit cover
Ayushman Bharat Will cover almost 40 percent of the population which will include poor, deprived rural families and identified the occupational category of urban workers' families.
The Beneficiaries can take cashless benefits from any public/private impaneled hospitals anywhere in the country.
Ayushman Bharat Covering almost all secondary and many tertiary hospitalizations.
State Health Agency (SHA) will be started by the states to implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The scheme is designed to be dynamic and aspirational.
Ayushman Bharat - National Health Protection Mission will be rolled out across all States/UTs in all districts with an objective to cover all the targeted beneficiaries.
