Ashok Lavasa has been appointed as the Election Commissioner (EC) of India by the President, Ram Nath Kovind on 21st January 2018.
Ashok Lavasa recently got retired on 30th October 2017, from the post of Finance Secretary of India (Department of Expenditure).
