Santosh Kumar Mohanty on Monday took charge as a whole-time member of market regulator Sebi. He has been appointed for three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Santosh Kumar Mohanty prior to his appointment had served as an executive director at Sebi from September 2015. He joined Sebi after erstwhile Forwards Markets Commission (FMC) was merged with it. He was a director at FMC.
