India celebrate Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam 15 October birth Anniversary

 

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of India Pranab Mukherjee pay tribute to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his birth Anniversary.

President pay tribute at Rashtrapati Bhawan along with Staff, officers and Kalam’s family members on remembering the ‘Missile Man of India’.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was  born on 15th October 1931 in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu and died on 27th July 2015 due to cardiac attack during the speech in IIT Shillong.

He launched the first satellite and made India the exclusive member of Space group

He also launched India’s first indigenous satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV-3) which was successfully launched at the Rohini satellite in the Earth Orbit in 1980.

He was also the author of many best-selling books like India 2020, Ignited Minds: Unleashing the power within India and Wings of Fire and was also the recipient of Padma Bhushan in 1981, Padma Vibhushan 1990 and highest civilian award in 1997.

Kalam was the former Prime Minister of India and inspired by millions of people especially the kids to dream big and achieve big goals in Life
