Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced on October 08, 2018 that Haryana Government will constitute Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF). The name of this force will be called 'Armature', which will include specially trained youth from the state police.
This force called armour will face the current security challenges of the state. Selected personnel of Haryana Police will be included in this, who will be trained by the National Security Guard (NSG).
The requirement of cities such as Gururgram and Faridabad, a decision has been taken to constitute this force. The headquarters of this security force called 'Kavach' will be made in Gururgram.
There will be a total of 150 personnel in this force and will be recruited in the 50-50 phase. The training of newly recruited security personnel will be done at the National Security Guards (NSG) camp located in Manesar. These soldiers will be given 14 weeks training here.
The work of this force will be trained to deal with terrorism and other major threats. The command of this force will be handled by the ADG rank officer.
