Anganwadi Services Training Programme MIS Portal Launched-Details, Features, Purpose www.icds-trg.nic.in
Union Ministry of Women and Child Development (WCD), Secretary, Rakesh Srivastava has introduced the Management Information System (MIS) portal for Anganwadi Services Training Programme on 24th January 2018 in New Delhi.
Ministry of WCD has developed the MIS portal, in compliance with National Informatics Centre (NIC), which is www.icds-trg.nic.in
The MIS portal is meant for the submission of applications and estimates by NGOs, in order to carry out Anganwadi Services (ICDS) Training through Anganwadi Workers Training Centres (AWTC) and Middle-Level Training Centres (MLTC).
The MIS portal’s Phase1 will permit NGOs to submit a proposal to the respective States/UTs, which will process the proposals and recommend the requirement of funds for running the Programme in the States/UTs.
The Union Government would later, examine and analyse the proposals and release the funds. It will also secure and check that funds are released timely and reach the assignees for training reasons.
The Anganwadi Services Training Programme works under Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme which is a government-sponsored scheme.
The Anganwadi Services provides training to Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), Anganwadi Helpers (AWHs) and Supervisors at AWTCs and MLTCs.
