The Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has exchanged land between Airports Authority of India and The Government of India for the construction of Airports in Odisha.
Around 1.6 acres of land has been exchanged with the government for widening of road at the Biju Patnaik Airport, Odisha.
The land is allocated by the State Government to AAI for the construction of Parallel Taxi tracks at the airport.
It will be advantageous to Government, AAI and the people as the taxi will be easily available.
The Government of Odisha will widen the roads near the airports mainly Ekamara Marg/ Palashpari Road to rearrange the VIP movements and to create safeguard zone for the public use.
