After Demonetisation, the Government is planning to replace all kinds of cards for payments and use Aadhaar Card for transactions.
Aadhaar Card will serve as making online payments and other transactions with 12 digit Aadhar number.
There is no need to carry cards and remember the pin, simply put Unique Identification Code and finerprint and your transaction is done.
NITI Aayog is initiating efforts to implement Aadhaar related transactions which requires having conversation with mobile manufacturing companies to launch mobiles with fingerprint censor.
With the help of finger print censor, people can make payments using aadhar card by proving the aadhar number and fingerprint online.
NITI Aayog has also decided to not levy any charges on making digital payments till 30th December.
