Prime Minister Narendra Modi bans Rs.500 and Rs.1000 denomination note from 9th November 2016.
New notes are issued of Rs.500 and Rs.2000 denomination which has certain features which will keep an eye on black money dealers.
Rs.2000 note has state of Nano GPS technology chip which functions without any power to prevent black money use.
This technology will detect the currency note from 150 metres below the ground.
One benefit is also available that if anyone tries to do anything the note, through NGC technology note will get discharged or unusable.
Rs.2000 note has Mahatma Gandhi picture and Mangalyaan at the back which depicts the scientific development and research progress in the country.
The size of the note is smaller as compared to the previous ones and promotes Swachh Bharat Mission.
Although, RBI press conference and prime minister's message to the nation do not provide any such information regardind imaplnt of such NGC (Nano GPS Chip).
